Electroland gives to Black Stars

Electroland Ghana Limited has presented an amount of $10,000 to the Black Stars ahead of its participation in the AFCON 2020 and Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

The amount was the first tranche of $60,000 support the company pledged for to the team.

The Minister of Youth and Sports (MoYS), Mr Mustapha Ussif who received the cheque thanked Electroland for responding to the call by President Akufo-Addo to support the Black Stars.

He urged other corporate bodies to follow the shining example of Electroland to support the Black Stars in the AFCON, World Cup qualifiers and the World Cup.

The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Nour Sekloui, embraced the call to support the Black Stars by contributing financially.

He said the company will make monthly contributions of $10,000 to the Black Stars for the next six months to clear the full amount pledged.
