Ghanaian boxing syndicate, ACE Power Promotions (APP) has signed a managerial and promotional contract with fast-rising boxer, Samuel Martei Laryea in Accra on Friday.
Laryea, who fights in the bantamweight division and a former member of Ghana’s Amateur Boxing team (Black Bombers), agreed to a three-year deal with the firm.
Speaking at the event, General Managing of APP, Mr. Isaac Amankwah described the heavy puncher as one who can win titles for Ghana when well nurtured.
“We see a lot of potential and hunger in him and as a firm, we intend to nurture him to bring a world title to Ghana.
“We’ll have him for the next three years and I can assure you he will take the world by storm,” he said.
Martei Laryea thanked APP for believing in his craft and assured his new management team of making them proud.
ACE Power Promotions have under their belt current national featherweight champion, Holy Dorgbetor and Robert Quaye who holds the UBO Intercontinental Championship title.
