Qualified teams for 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup announced

 The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed qualified teams for the 2023/24 Women’s FA Cup Competition.

The competition will begin from Round 64 and will see pairings been made on Regional basis before graduating to Zonal basis from the Round of 16.

Each of the 10 football regions have presented their qualified teams per the rules of the competition.

The Round of 64 is scheduled be played on the weekend of Dec. 1-4.

A statement signed by the FA urged stakeholders to take note of the date and act accordingly.

According to the statement, Valued Girls, Rootz Sistaz FC and Kotoku Rush Ladies will represent the Eastern zone with Real Crusaders, Kpongu Maidens and Wa All Stars Ladies representing the Northern region.

From the Central region are Ali Royal Ladies, Socrates Maidens, Kes­sewa Ladies, Mfantsiman Royal Ladies, Ladystrikers, Essiam Socrates, Soccer Intellectuals and Sea Lions FC with the likes of Bagabaga Ladies, Nasara Ladies, FC Young Queens, Yoo Ladies, Anfaani Ladies, FC Savannah, Kumbungu Ladies, Northern Ladies, Tamale Super Ladies and Pearlpia Ladies.

From Volta region comes Anlo Ladies, Agave Glad Ladies, Ketu Ladies and Dream Big Ladies; Upper East region would have Bolga All Stars Ladies, Kunkua Ladies FC and Zorkor Liberty Ladies while Ashanti region is represent­ed by Dynamite Ladies, Nana Afia Kobi Ampem, Soccer Angel Ladies, Fabulous Ladies, Dreamz Ladies, Supreme Ladies, Ashtown Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy.

The Greater Accra region would have Ideal Ladies, Blessed Ladies, FC Epiph­any Warriors, Halifax Queens, GAR La­dies, Immigration Ladies, Police Ladies, Berry Ladies, Jonina Ladies, Faith Ladies and Army Ladies.

Immaculate Ladies, Hassport Ladies, Blacoe Soccer, Wisdom Ladies FC, Leo­na Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies will rep­resent the Western region while Bono/ Ahafo regions would be represented by Gyagba Ladies FC, Jaman Vision Ladies FC, Ken Hammer Ladies, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Prisons Ladies and Fosu Royal Ladies
