Hearts, Dreams FC draw in Accra

Accra Hearts of Oak were held to a goalless draw by visiting Dreams FC in their match day four betPawa Premiership League at the Accra Sports Stadium, yesterday.

The Phobians were chasing a second straight home win of the season following a 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC in week two.

Hearts came into the game with their back against the wall and were in need of the victory to calm the supporters who have been dissatisfied at the results coming from the team under Coach Martin Koopman.

Throughout the entire first half, they failed to trouble goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi in post for Dreams FC while striker John Antwi made things tough for Richmond Ayi in post for Hearts.

Agyenim Boateng came close to opening the scoring on 18th minute but his shot went across the face of goal.

On the other end, Antwi out-jumped the defenders of Hearts to head a cross from Suweidu Sulemana but the effort missed the target.

On 56 minutes Tamko Nuhu was put through by Antwi but he missed his kick as Ayi came to the rescue of the Phobians again.

Substitute Enoch Asubonteng brought the best out of Agbasi on in the 82nd minute as the latter stretched to keep out a strike from about 25 yards.

Five minute later, Suraj Seidu was on target but Agbasi scored full marks with a great save.

The visitors held on to pick a point.
