Dreams FC thrashed Liberty Professionals 3-0 to advance to the quarter finals of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup competition.
Two first half goals from Gael Ahorlu and Prince Boateng Jnr (an own goal) and a third in the second half from Ali Huzaif ensured the Dawu lads cruised to the next stage of the competition.
Gael Ahorlu opened the scoring in the 13th minute as he got on the end of Victor Oduro’s delicious delivery to head home.
The home side increased the tally four minutes later through a Prince Boateng Junior own goal. The youngster put the ball into his own net in an attempt to clear a long throw-in from Daniel Adade in the 17th minute to make it 2-0 for Dreams FC.
After the recess, Ali Huzaif capitalized on a defensive error by Kwame Paul to smash home the third goal.
