Black Maidens off to Guinea for WWC U-17 qualifier

A squad of 22 players of the Black Queens have been selected for a trip to Conakry, Guinea as the team gear up for the third round of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, India 2022 qualifiers.

The team advanced to this stage of the qualifiers with a 4-0 aggregate win over Senegal last Month and hope to replicate another success story in the third round.

The Black Maidens would take on the Guineans on Saturday at the Stade Général Lansana Conté de Nongo Conakry with the reverse fixture scheduled for the Cape Coast Stadium on April 30.

Players invited for the qualifier includes:

Goalkeepers: Deborah Brown – Ampem Darkoa Ladies; Ahamadu Amina – FC Savannah and Najat Salam – Tamale Super ladies.
