The camp of the national men’s under-23 team, the Black Meteors has been boosted with the arrival of nine foreign players.
The team is currently in camp as they put final touches to preparations towards their Olympic Games qualifier against Gabon on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The nine players include, Kwabena Owusu, Bernard Tekpertey, Joseph Paintsil, Isaac Twum, Benjamin Tetteh, Gideon Mensah, Musah Nuhu, Osman Bukari and Kingsley Fobi.
All nine trained for the first time with their colleagues yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium under the guidance of Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his able assistant Michael Osei and goalkeeper’s trainer Nassam Yakubu.
The team will continue with training at the same venue today.
However another friendly match is being lined up for the team before playing Gabon on Saturday.
