Wonder Club, Accra Great Olympics will face Tamale Real Tamale United (RTU) in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) week 18 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium today.
With RTU’s unimpressive run away from home, the ‘Wonder Boys’ would be expected to beat the travelers to maintain their spot among the top four clubs.
And for their top four hopes to remain feasible, a win will keep them in touching distance of leaders, Asante Kotoko who seem to be enjoying a decent run.
But RTU cannot be underestimated looking at the history with the Wonder Club in Accra.
Having drawn with the two traditional sides of the city, Hearts and Olympics in Tamale, they have a taste of what to expect and would prepare adequately for Coach Annor Walker’s side who would have to be more potent upfront if they want to emerge winners of the day.
