MP highlights devt projects in constituency

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Effiduase-Asokore in the Ashanti Region, Dr Nana Afriyie, has highlighted development projects within his constituency geared to transform constituents and propagate them to expose the achievements of the government.

In furtherance of this, he will soon inaugurate education facilities he has been able to construct to develop teaching and learning processes within the constituency, asphalting of major roads within the constituency and small-town water project which has been completed to serve six towns.

Dr Afriyie decried that ongoing projects had been left without Ghanaians knowing what the government had achieved and appealed to members, supporters and well-wishers of the party to continue propagating achievements of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for people to know he is fixing the country and will be able to break the eight-year electoral jinx.

“Members, supporters, faithful of the party should keep on telling our success stories and if they fail in touting our achievements nobody will do that, let’s respect the constitution of the party and not allow anybody to do anything anyhow and all delegates should be ambassadors so as their activities will attract more people to the family,” he stressed.

Dr Afriyie charged party sympathisers and well-wishers to speak to issues, otherwise the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would spread falsehood to the citizenry when the government was providing accountability, good governance, rule of law, better living conditions and filling inadequacies in the country.

In response to aggrieved youth, he intimated that the government had outlined initiatives it had implemented, including the Nation Builders’ Corp, National Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan and other social interventions as part of efforts to build the human capital. –
