Defence Minister charges NPP’s Bimbilla Constituency to work for victory in 2024 elections

The Minister of Defence, Mr Dominic Nitiwul has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bimbilla Constituency of the Northern Region to remain united as one family to enable the party to “break the 8.”

He reminded them of the need to continue the hard work to ensure victory of the party come 2024 general elections.

He made the statement on Sunday at a meeting with the elders of the party, area coordinators, constituency executives, youth and some members of the party in the constituency.

He urged them to ensure that the party stay united, peaceful and focus to win their contenders all the time.

“The NPP as a party is ‘breaking the 8’ and called on the leadership of the constituency to iron out their differences and forged ahead to win more votes for the party,” he stated.

Mr Nitiwul, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bimbilla Constituency, said the priority of the party was to win the 2024 elections with a united force.

He said the Akufo-Addo-led administration had perform very well in all sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

The minister said the government had been able to implement a number of policies and projects including the building of schools, implementation of the free SHS, construction of roads and the building of hospitals under the agenda 111.

He stated that the NPP would win the 2024 general elections massively, hence the need for them to work as a team to achieve that victory.

Mr Nitiwul added that they could not continue to allow their petty squabbles and issues to have any negative effect on the party.

He stated that they need to brighten the chances of the party to retained power.

Mr Nitiwul, however, called on the constituency executives and party faithful to remain resolute and work together.

The former Northern Regional Minister and a native of Bimbilla, Mr Salifu Saeed told them to work towards one goal for the victory.
