The 46th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) awards will be held on December 3, the organisers have disclosed.
The 2021 edition of the prestigious and longest running awards event in Ghana, will confer honours on the nation’s most distinguished sports personalities in the year under review.
The General Secretary for SWAG, Mr Charles Osei Ashley, said the 46th edition will have pre-event ceremonies where winners in non-voting categories would be honoured.
He said SWAG would soon announce the shortlist for the various categories from the SWAG Awards Nomination Committee at an event to be launched soon.
He said the prestigious Sports Personality of the Year award would be keenly contested by personalities who were tremendous in their various sporting activities for the year.
