Foster Korang put up a spirited display to win the maiden series of the 2019 MTN Invitational Golf tournament played at Bogoso on Saturday.
Foster Korang topped the Men’s Group A and was trailed by Yaw Anarf and Elliah Dennis in second and third positions.
Moses Eshun brushed aside a stiff opposition from Isaac Blanney to triumph in the men’s Group B category.
Martin Cochrane emerged winner in Group C ahead of Isaac Addae.
In the women’s division, Agnes Adams won ahead of the fans’ favourite, Floria Hurtubiss in the ladies Group A category. Ruby Sanoah won the Group B trophy.
The Longest Drive men award went to Koster Korang with the Closest to the Pin gong going to Ben Baah.
Addressing the participants, the Acting Regional Senior Manager foe South West Business, Mohammed Tiyuniba congratulated the winners and reminded workers to take time off their schedules to relax and play golf.
He said MTN finds the tournament very important it offers the company the opportunity to interact with customers and receive constructive feedback.
He said the year 2019 has been declared a year for the customer as they hope to take steps to delight their customers and announced the company’s new 4G Plus technology which brings faster speeds to users.
He said over 600 cell sites have been rolled out across the country for customers to enjoy the best service.
