A goal by Kamaradini Mamudu in time added on handed Medeama SC a narrow victory over Accra Great Olympics in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) week 29 Match played at the Accra Sports Stadium, yesterday.
Mamudu’s cross deflected off the outstretched leg of skipper Kassim Razak to beat Benjamin Asare, who came out of his post in anticipation of the cross.
On an afternoon when the Dade Boys needed the three points to avoid the drop, goalkeeper Felix Kyei, of Medeama denied them twice with some brilliant saves.
This was after Diawisie Taylor had missed from the spot after winger Derrick Fordjour was brought down in the box after 15 minutes.
The Mauve and Yellow boys had moments to grab the opener but Manuel Mantey and Godknows Dzakpasu failed to find the back of the net.
