Hearts bounce back with Chelsea thrashing

 Accra Hearts of Oak returned to winning ways with an impressive 3-0 thrashing of Berekum Chelsea in their Ghana Premier League (GPL) match day 29 game played at the Golden City Park yesterday.

Joint league top scorer, Hamza Issah, grabbed his 12th goal in the 19th minute, while Linda Mtange and KassimCissie scored in the 59th and 83rd minutes to seal victo­ry after a winless run that stretched to two games.

The Phobians shocked the home fans when IssahKukah threaded a pass from inside the box onto the path of Issahwho hit into the roof of the net.

The visitors controlled the game searched for more goals but goalkeeper Gregory ObengSekye­redeniedIssah, Linda Mtange, and KassimCissé.

Back from recess, Stephen Amankonacame close to an equalis­er but failed to score with his strike.

Mtange slot home the second goal on 59 minutes before substi­tute Cissé put the icing on the cake with the third goal seven minutes from the end.

The win moves Hearts to 11th on the log with 38 points and would next face two-time league winners, the Aduana Stars, at the Accra Sports Stadium on match day 30.
