The Volta Regional Juvenile Club Owners Association of Ghana (JUCOAG) is organising a basic certificate course for coaches across the country.
It is aimed at training new coaches and offers an opportunity to upgrade the skills of qualified coaches.
Mr. George Ofori, the Volta Regional Chairman of JUCOAG, said it was important for coaches to be certified by a recognised professional football body.
He said with this new training scheme, “the days when everyone who plays football turns himself into coach should be over.”
The five-day course will run from April 30 to May 4, in Ho.
Resource persons are seasoned coaches from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
