Korle Klottey will remain NDC largest support base – Zanetor Rawlings

Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has reiterated her preparedness to continue to work with the residents in the constituency to ensure it remained one of the largest support bases of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

She urged the constituents and members of the party to live in harmony and unity to achieve such a feat which was surmountable and for the growth of the party and noted that, “I will create awareness and consciousness among the electorate, especially the youth, on the need to concentrate on issues that will move Korley Klottey forward”.

Dr Rawlings reiterated when members of the NDC in the Korley Klottey Constituency reaffirmed their support and assistance for Dr Rawlings, to retain the seat in the 2020 general election and beyond at a rally at Osu, a suburb of Accra.

She said the provision of social services had been her focus for the past three years in office, to improve the lives of the citizens and was hopeful that with the needed support and assistance from the constituents she would be able to improve livelihoods and ameliorate the plight of the vulnerable.

Benjamin Kotey, Constituency Chairman of the NDC, cautioned the electorate not to deny themselves the opportunity of electing the one who would represent their interests and ensure their needs were met saying, “Zanetor is capable of leading our party to victory in the constituency in the 2020 general election and beyond’’.

 Joshua Akamba, the National Organiser of the NDC, appealed to the electorate not to be deceived by propaganda surrounding the performance of former President John Mahama because he performed better and must be given another opportunity to transform the ailing economy. 

 Nii Lante Vanderpuye, the MP for Odododiodoo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, who was the guest speaker, observed that the citizenry were looking up to the NDC to work hard to win the 2020 elections so as to reduce the hardships and renew their confidence and consciousness in democracy and good governance.

 Justice Tetteh, the Constituency Treasurer of the NDC, appealed to the youth to bury all differences and vote wisely for Dr Rawlings, be vigilant at all polling stations and block all forms of loopholes in order to retain the seat. -gna.org
