The Krontihene of Akyem Kotoku traditional area in the Eastern Region, Obrempong Gyamfi Saforo Kyereh has postulated that the government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the best the nation has ever had in its 62 years after independence.
He observed that the government’s initiatives are fast transforming the nation positively and cited the free Senior High School (SHS) policy, Planting for Food and Jobs, Planting for Food for Export, One District One Factory, One Village One Dam and One Constituency $1million interventions, which he insisted would go a long way to accelerate the education and socio-economic growth and development of the country.
Obrempong Gyamfi Kyereh made the remark yesterday when he accompanied the NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Akyem Oda, William Agyapong Quaittoo, to cut the sod for four education projects for Oda Senior High School (ODASCO) and Akyem Aboabo in the Eastern Region.
He also commended the government for instituting other interventions for each constituency which would speed up the growth and development of all nooks and crannies of the nation and described the president as the best president the country has ever had in its 62 years of independence.
Obrempong Gyamfi Kyereh urged the citizenry to “close their ranks and give President Nana Akufo-Addo our maximum assistance and support to ensure the success of his administration and also full of praise for Mr Quaittoo for undertaking a number of development projects in the constituency to uplift the constituency.
“The Akyem Kotoku traditional area will benefit a lot from the one million dollar per constituency since the community alone has six constituencies, one municipality and five districts, most of which are the creation and initiative of the government of the NPP,” Obrempong Gyamfi Kyereh touted. –primenewsghana.com
