Enterprising cyclist, Prince Kudufia, has emerged as the winner of the 2023 Mountain Bike race held at Ashiyie in Accra last weekend.
Kudufia defended the title he won last year to mark his third time winning the race since its inception in 2019.
He made a time of 46.48secs to clinch the ultimate prize of GHȻ1,000, a trophy and a medal for his efforts.
He was followed by Nii Quaye who finished in a time of 46.50secs for the second and Emmanuel Sesi in third in 46.53secs.
The fourth Mountain Bike Race was organised by Emmagee Fitness Centre (EFC) with support from Kowri, GBB, Run Ghana, Gladiators Cycling Club, DHL, Jibu and Esports Association Ghana.
Over 100 cyclists were involved in the event including children, adults (male and female) as well as professionals and amateur riders.
The Chief Executive Officer for EFC, Mr Emmanuel Antwi, said he was pleased with the turnout and commended the winner and other cyclists for their efforts.
