Innovation needed in tackling COVID-19–Toobu

Superintendent (rtd) Peter Lanchene Toobu, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s parliamentary candidate for the Wa West Constituency in the Upper West Region, has observed that the nation must adopt innovative measures towards the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

He said hand sanitisers must be produced on a large scale and supplied to every part of the country as a measure to fight the infection adding that “alcoholic beverage production companies should promote ‘one bottle of any alcoholic beverage, one 100ml sanitiser (1B 1S).

 “Let’s think outside the box in our fight against COVID-19,” Superintendent (rtd) Toobu stressed.  

Ghana has recorded 214 cases of the COVID-19 pandemic with five deaths.
