The Greater Accra women’s Division One League (DOL) outfit, Ideal Ladies FC, has commenced a three-week justify-your-inclusion exercise ahead of the new football season.
The exercise which started on Tuesday, August 8 at the Kaneshie Bishop Park will run to September 2.
It is scheduled between 2pm to 5pm each day.
Under the guidance of Head Coach John Mensah (Isco) and his assistants, Ernest Entsie and Sadiq Quarcoo, players would be taken through a series of drills including ball control, shooting and dribbling drills as well as developing attacking drills among others.
According to Madam Dzormo Adzekwei, the CEO of the team told the Times Sports that players that will excel would be recruited in a bid to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.
The exercise is part of pre-season activities lined up to commence the new season.
Ideal Ladies finished the previous league season third in Zone A, missing out to FC Epiphany Warriors and GRA Ladies after amassing a total of 42 points from the league games,
Formed in 2004 by the former Black Queens player, Dzormo Adzekwei and a partner, the club has featured twice in the middle league in 2014 and 2016 but failed to qualify to the premier division.
