Christmas came early for thousands of children and families in Takoradi as the 2019 Cowbell Santa Funfair took center stage last weekend at the Jubilee Park.
Children from Takoradi and neighbouring towns thronged the Jubilee Park and were treated to fun games with lots for giveaways from the brand.
The presence of the Cowbell Santa was hugely felt in the Township as he was paraded through the principal streets with several giveaways amidst music from the brass band and captivating skating performances from Santa’s assistants.
Cowbell’s Brand Manager Mr Jospeh Ashong who spoke after the event said, “I am really delighted about the turnout of the event; the Cowbell Santa funfair is an annual event we have been organising over the past decades and it has always been a joy to bring these thousands of children under one fun and entertaining event. It is one of our ways of saying thank you to our children for their contribution towards the growth of the Cowbell brand.”
There was also a special health screening exercise and spa treatment for parent and teachers who attended the event as well as performances from popular gospel musician Koda, winner of 2018 edition of Adom TV children Nsroma and many others.
The funfair was preceded by a donation to the children ward of the Effie Nkwantang Regional hospital.
