The groovy and melodious voice causes heads to turn and all attention driven to it, no matter the language barrier, said the President of Rebel Entertainment Diego Redd-California – USA who was reviewing Afro Beats and Hip Hop Songs from Ghana.
Godwin Awlime known by his showbiz name as Tokz, signed to Granted Soul Entertainment which was sighted at the just ended Coco In White All White Fashion with the likes of Medikal and Frank Nero.
And in attendance were other International Celebrities; Michael Blankson and Fiance and many other Astute Corporate Stakeholders who graced the event.
The night was turned up with a grand massive opening performance by Tokz with the models setting the whole space, filled to capacity, to a dramatic surprise.
With a high demand by his numerous fans, he mounted the stage of Jam Rock 2021 at the Oak Plaza Hotel in celebration of Jamaica’s Independence with his electrifying performance.
Tokz reveals to the Ghanaian Times that staying true to his indigenous language ‘EWE’, upholding his heritage and culture, as he gives to Ghana and beyond more meaningful melodious songs, as inspired by God, his mother and Life on the street.
He looked forward to being the first Ghanaian musician to win Grammys for the mother land.
Looking at his career in retrospect, Tokz had worked with the likes of Edem, Quamina MP, Toga Vee, Towzy, Tha Plugzz, KPESE BOII, Jah Phinga and few others.
King One Beatz, Mix Master Garzy are some of the few producers the musician has worked with.
The rapper has had a number of interviews on Radio and TV with the likes of Hstv, 4syte TV, Volta 1 TV, CTV, GN tv, Homebase.
Some of the soul soothing melodies released by Tokz so far includes Philomina, Ageshe , Kpekpezukpe , We no dey see you sef ; Mayi ; Miesenanu; Just In Case; Enueglo; Akume He; Madzedzio ; Reverse and Work.
