Ho Teaching Hospital honours 10 staff members

Ten workers of Ho Teaching Hospital have been honoured for their hard work and dedication to duty for last year.

They were each presented with a citation at a thanksgiving church service to usher in the New Year.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital, Dr John Tampouri, who presented the citations, said that management would continue to reward hard work for workers who demonstrated selflessness towards work.

He added that management would this year start the expansion of the Accident and Emergency Unit to meet the large number of patients that come for admission.

Dr Tampouri added that they would initiate processes to complete the Family and Health Centre to improve facilities in all the units where they are most needed to augment the existing ones.

He said that despite some challenges faced by the hospital last year, it had resolved to provide quality health care to its clients.

Dr Tampouri enumerated some of the success stories of the hospital as the introduction of Endoscopy unit, CT scans and effective physiotherapy services.

He commended management and staff of the hospital for their hard work and pledged his continuous support to improve the fortunes of the hospital.
