‘TF Financial Services to prioritise customer satisfaction’

One of Ghana’s leading finance houses, TF Financial Services, has reiterated its commitment to prioritise customer satisfaction in its operations to restore public trust in the financial sector.

Head of Human Resource and Administration, Mrs Edith Ekua Blankson in an interview said customer satisfaction was the surest way for organisational growth and sustainability.

She was speaking on the sidelines of a free medical screening held concurrently across all branches of the company last Friday.

The exercise which was to climax the company’s Customer Service Week (CSW) on the theme, ‘Every experience counts’, targeted residents, customers and staff as well as prospective clients within the company’s catchment areas.

Patrons were screened of diseases including hypertension, prostate specific antigen, and typhoid fever among others to promote a healthy and safe mind.

According to Mrs Blankson, “The CSW is a period where we get to interact with our customers, sensitise the community about our existence and give them some financial tips while we also de-stress as workers.”

She observed that the financial space was increasingly becoming stressful not only for staff but customers as well, “because people are now mostly busy to make ends meet and reach their targets without considering their health”.

“The current dispensation we are in puts everyone under stress. There are many instances where we follow up on clients for a facility and told the person has just passed on out of stroke or other ailments.

The health screening, Mrs Blankson maintained “is to give our clients the opportunity to know their health status and empower each other to take our wellbeing seriously. We need to change the culture of waiting to get sick before visiting the health facility”.

Dr Alexander Lagoh, Head of the Medical Team from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that carried out the exercise at the Asylum Down branch of the company urged Ghanaians to take responsibility of their lifestyles.

“Let us do away with these sedentary lifestyles; learn to socialise, avoid fatty foods and take in more vegetables.

“Check your sugar and salt intake and other attitudes that expose us to lifestyle diseases to be able to lead a meaningful life,” he advised.

At least 150 individuals had checked their vitals and medical statuses by close of day.
