Stanford Network Business Confab takes place Thursday

Local and international business experts and entrepreneurs from various sectorswill converge on Accra and online on Thursday for the Stanford Seed Network Business Conference 2021.

The annual flagship conference of the Ghana Chapter of Stanford Seed Transformation Network, aims to empower businesses and their leaders to embrace and leverage transformation opportunities.

This year’s edition, on the theme “Transformation Continuum”, would bring together renowned speakers including Managing Director of GCB Bank Ltd, MrKofi Adomakoh,who would share with participants their experiences on how they have transformed their businesses and organisations.

The conference is expected to equip participants with new approaches and pragmatic business solutions to transform their businesses as the world deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.


The US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan, would open the conference/ exhibition followed by panel discussions on “Building a transformation mindset, – innovation and pitfalls” and “Financing your transformation”.

President of the Stanford Seed Transformation Network, Ghana and Founder of Cadling Fashions and KAD Manufacturing Ltd, Linda YaaAmpah, told Joynews that business transformation had become critical as entrepreneurs had been compelled by the COVID-19 pandemic to undertake fundamental and innovative changes in order to survive and be successful.

“Clearly, as businesses, we have to accept that transformation in systems, processes, models, people and technology among others are needed to achieve success. We can’t continue to do things as we did in the past.

“STN Ghana is happy to create a platform for discussions and insights in transformation for us to learn as well as encourage ourselves through the networking opportunities to propel our businesses forward.” she said
