Pacinos The Barber Puts The Focus On Family

When you initially pull any one item of Pacinos Signature Line off the shelf of a Target you’re shopping in, you’ll likely first notice the sleek, black packaging and the crisp, clean lines. The aesthetic of Pacinos as a brand is catered to the notion of not only quality material, but of luxury as well. The products you are using ought to make you feel luxurious and well-looked after.

This mentality is a core part of the Pacinos base – anticipating the client’s needs before the client needs to ask for it. Pacinos founder, entrepreneur and business mogul Eric Roa, has always ensured that this is a top principle as his brand has expanded over the years. He prioritized the consumer’s desires, which has had a direct contribution to how he tested products with manufacturers during the company’s first inception over a decade ago. The mentality of not only just quality over quantity but also keeping the business as an enriched person-based profession offers a glimpse into the crux of Roa’s motivation.

What evidently keeps Pacinos The Barber grounded and relatable to his fan base and following is the fact that at the end of the day, the success he’s seen throughout his career is both owed and attributed to his family. Whether it was the key moment in telling his mother that Target had picked up Pacinos Signature Line, or in the everyday moments in watching his children grow up, Roa can confidently express that his family is the reason he strives so hard for excellence. Working hard to support them has been ingrained into his being since he was child.

The Queens native grew up in a minority Latino home where his family worked hard for what they earned. When his mother wasn’t able to afford for Roa to get a haircut he found a pair of scissors and did it himself, which led to the ignition of his passion. As he moved through high school, Roa networked amongst his friend groups offering $5 haircuts to anyone who wanted one. His dreams, however, were put on hold when he got his girlfriend pregnant. Fresh out of high school with the responsibility to support his family, Roa enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country. Throughout his time serving though, his passion continued to flourish and he spent his nights working towards a diploma in cosmetology.

Once his period serving was over, Pacinos The Barber fully pursued his passion and became a barber. His ambitious nature directly contributed to the skyrocketing of his career. While he began conversing in nightclubs, passing his card around to everyone he could, it wasn’t long before he began to catch larger attention and gained notable distinction in his profession. Roa’s time spent barbering allowed him the opportunity to work with thousands of clients including coveted guests such as Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Sean “Jay Z” Carter, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Kevin Hart, and others. Roa toured around the U.S. and Internationally as a Platform Artist & Educator for WAHL Clippers, a leader in the professional and home grooming industry, during which time he noticed the severe absence of quality products represented in the men’s grooming industry.

Thus was the birth of Pacinos Signature Line. As Roa was flexible with the jaunty twists and turns his career took, he kept his family at the forefront of his mind and sought nothing but the best. His long nights of curating, networking, and making calls were traded in with being approached for several inflated business opportunities. Today, Pacinos is one of the most highly accoladed brands in its industry with a mass presence spanning across the globe in places among the likes of Brazil, Italy, Netherlands, Iraq, Mexico, Colombia, Australia, Japan and more.

This has aided in the closing of contracts with esteemed international retailers such as Superdrug (United Kingdom), Manor (Switzerland), Watsons (UAE), among others. Across the U.S., Pacinos glitters the aisles of CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Target, and most recently H.E.B. in Texas.

Amongst all the success, peering through his social media it’s clear to see what it all, once more, boils down to for Roa. His focus on family has not only inspired him to push onward throughout every obstacle he has faced, but it has also been vital into the enjoyment of the success he thrives in today. Pacinos The Barber’s life story emphasizes the importance of how strong ties to familial and person-based mentalities directly enrich, liven, and personalize how you build your business, and how in the end all the work that you do is better when enjoyed as such.
