Ngleshie Alata Paramount Stool Council Chairman outdoored in Accra

The Chairman of the reconstituted Ngleshie Alata Paramount Stool Council,Korle Gonno, Nii Ayisah Sasraku III has been outdoored in Accra on Tuesday.

The Chairman would other among other things, supervise activities leading to the enstoolment of a new Paramount Chief for the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area following the demise of Obirimpong Kojo Ababio six years ago.

Speaking at the outdooring ceremony, Nii Sasraku said, he would also champion the course of unity and peaceful coexistence among the people.

That he said,would ensure they worked together to foster development within the area and the country at large.

“We need to ensure peace,unity and reconciliation that would go a long way to foster development in Ngleshie and its environs,” he stated.

He added that, there were many litigation issues in the area which had caused divisions and hindering development.

“Together with other members of the council, we would ensure that those issues become a thing of the past and charge a new course of progress and prosperity,” he stressed.

He called on other chiefs to cooperate with them to ensure a peaceful administration for the benefit of the people especially the youth.

“I swore an oath of allegiance to work with everyone to move the paramountcy to greater heights,” he added.

“I also pledge to work with chiefs, counsellors, elders and youth groups to bring development to the area,” he said.

He therefore urged the people of Ngleshie Alata to cooperate with them as they worked towards enstooling a new Paramount Chief and other activities that would bring progress to the area.
