Great Bright Minds School Marks 3rd Graduation

The Great Bright Minds School (GBMS) located at Tetegu near Weija in the Greater Accra Region over the weekend marked its third graduation ceremony.

The colourful ceremony which also served as an occasion to celebrate the school’s fourth anniversary saw thrilling performances including poetry recitals and cultural displays from the talented pupils.

The graduation, held on the theme “Transforming the Rapidly Changing Generation Through Unearthing Talents and Embracing Innovation” featured 52 pupils from pre-school through primary and Junior High School (JHS).

Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the school, Mrs Doreen Ahalivor touched on her outfit’s main objective, saying the vision of the school was born when she and her family relocated to the neighbourhood.

The goal, she said was to create a place where children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds could access quality education at an affordable rate.

She emphasized collaborative efforts with parents through various payment plans, adding that with a dedicated staff and state of the art facilities, GBMS fosters an environment conducive to learning and growth.

Currently hosting 300 pupil, Mrs Ahalivor revealed that since its launch on September 9, 2019, with 35 pupils, the school has witnessed remarkable growth, becoming an educational haven after earning its reputation as the top choice for parents seeking to nurture their children’s potential.

“The school’s commitment to holistic development sets it apart, preparing students not just academically but also socially and creatively,” she added.

Explaining she indicated that the curriculum of the GBMS was dynamic, integrating the British, Australia and Ghana Education Service (GES) curricula.

“As the school marks its 4th anniversary and 3rd graduation, Great Bright Minds School stands as a testament to its commitment to excellence in education and empowerment of the next generation,” Mrs Ahalivor said.

She congratulated all the pupils and urged them to take their studies seriously and make discipline a hallmark.

The occasion was graced by the Deputy Director of Finance and Administration, GES, Madam Herty Asiedua, the PTA chairperson Reverend Nicky Oduro, special guest of honour, Apostle Anthony Ahalivor, Reverend Nicky Oduro, Co-Founder of GBMS Mr Joshua Kwame Ahalivor among other dignitaries.
