Dr Mckorley installed “Development king of Africa”… for impacting positively the lives of vulnerable in society

The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the McDan Group of companies, Dr Daniel Mckorley, has been installed under a stool name Togbe Dudzradutor to wit “Development king of Africa” by the Kings Forum and traditional leaders of Africa.

The titled was bestowed on him following his development-oriented personality of great repute and as a philanthropist of high pedigree, which had impacted positively on the lives of people, especially the vulnerable in society.

The Chief of Staff of the African Forum for Kings, Togbi Gobah Tengey, who disclosed this yesterday at a press conference in Accra said, although the installation ceremony had been performed, it was now time to make it known to the public.

He said the group which focused on peace building and development of humankind, believe their illustrious son (DrMckorley) had been very supportive to the youth as well.

“Despite his business acumen and wealth, he is practically sociable, helpful, simple and very approachable to expand his territory for the youth to become wealthy.

His coming into salt mining was another gargantum gateway to liberate unemployment among the youth, especially in his home town at Ada, which has seen a meteoric rise in salt productions with 1000s employment,” he said.

This marks Dr Mckorley’s  third of such titles, having previously been honored by chiefs of Ada and Dagbon.

Dr McKorley, a native of Ada was installed under the stool name Nene Koranteng Kabu I at the 80th Ada Asafotufiami held at the Ada Presbyterian Park.

As part of his humanitarian achievement, Dr Mckorley affectionately called McDan, has built seven schools in the Northern Region, four Astro Turfs (La, Teshie-Nugua, Hohoe, and Ada).

He has also provided over 350 students scholarships as well as building young business through the McDan challenge.

The McDan Group of Companies is a transportation and logistics company with operations in freight forwarding and logistics provider for land transports, sea freight, air freight and contract logistics.
