“Desist from making excuses when faced with challenging situations. It is unacceptable to find a justification of why you cannot make it when others in the same situation are finding the solutions,” he said.

Mr Padi made the call at the 2022 New Year Clinic, organised at Agomanya, Odumase Krobo, in the Eastern Region, on Sunday.

It was organised to encourage and motivate young people to develop personal strategies to ensure success in their lives.

Participants at the day’s event included students, workers, traders, artisans, apprentices, tradesmen, and young entrepreneurs who wanted to start and grow businesses.

Topics covered at the seminar, included “What is your Dream, “Vision for the next five years and beyond”, Choose whom you want to become.”

Mr Padi urged the youth to develop positive mindset in all their endeavours adding, “you must desist from stereotype expressions.”

He said, “plan your life with a goal in mind , implement, monitor and evaluate your plans – break your goals into daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities and monitor them while putting  God in the middle “.

Speaking on time management, Mr Padi said time was of paramount importance to the daily life of successful people, adding that “if you want to achieve success like other people, it is important that you do not procrastinate or waste precious time on things that will not inure to your benefit.”
