Vinnytsia State Pedagogical Univ honours 2 Ghanaians

The Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, Ukraine under the auspices of the Confederation of Government Assessment Institute (COGAI), has conferred Honorary Degrees on two Ghanaians for their efforts in developing the country in various sectors.

The two business moguls who received the honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree were, Mr Effah Nyarko, an astute entrepreneur and Rev. Christian K. Kweitsu of Chrispat Hearing Center.

Both received citations in recognition of their roles in the socio-economic development of the country.

Their citations read, “An Honorary Doctorate Degree, in recognition of your enormous dedication and commitment to becoming a magnate in business and entrepreneurship in Ghana. Your effort in ensuring the socio-economic wellbeing of individuals in your community and the country at large has contributed to earn you this honour.”

It added that, “Your dedication and commitment to your business has transformed you into a renowned business mogul. Your efforts have led to the development of a variety of businesses which contribute to your society and Ghana as a whole.”

According to a communication specialist at COGAI, Isaac Rockson, honoring such persons would go a long way to motivate others to contribute to national development.

He said, COGAI last year awarded persons including Fada Dickson of Peace FM, Mr Kwame Kyei, Dr K.K Peprah and others, and would continue to give recognition to persons who have distinguished themselves in their professions.

“It is also important for us to promote this country by teaching children to be patriotic in order to grow to become very responsible leaders,” he stated.

Presenting the citations to the recipients on behalf of the Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, Dr Richard Eghan congratulated Mr Nyarko and Rev. Kweitsu on their efforts which earned them the awards.

He said, “We intend to honour hardwork and any individual who has excelled in his profession through hardwork would surely be rewarded in due time.”

He encouraged students to work hard in school, while urging the youth in general to take any profession they were doing very seriously in order to help build a better Ghana.

Mr Nyarko and Rev. Kweitsu both expressed appreciation to organisers for the award and pledged to do more to ensure the growth of the country.
