President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah, has lost his mother, Madam Beatrice Yeboah.
She was 90.
Madam Beatrice Yeboah died peacefully in her sleep on Monday morning in Accra.
The eminent journalist was saddened by the loss, and told the Times Sports yesterday that “it was one of those things in life.”
“She was a good, kind-hearted woman and I can only pray the Almighty God grant her eternal rest,” the SWAG president said.
On Monday, Mr Yeboah took to the SWAG Whatsapp platform to break the news.
“Brothers, sorry, I lost my mother a few hours ago. Tough times,” the message read.
According to the SWAG capo, funeral arrangements of will be announced later.
