Samaria Ladies face Halifax tomorrow

Samaria Ladies will face high-flying Halifax Ladies in the weekend’s top fixture of the Normalisation Committee (NC) Special Women’s Competition at the ATTC Park tomorrow.

Samaria Ladies started the competition on a flying note with a win over Immigration Ladies but lost 1-0 to Halifax.

That loss was followed by further losses at home to Police Ladies and Immigration Ladies.

But skipper of Samaria Ladies, Leticia Adjei says tomorrow’s game provides an opportunity to put back the smiles on the faces of their fans and revive their dreams of qualifying to the next stage.

Her opposite Captain, Faustina Tetteh believes their qualification hangs on this game and vowed to go all out to make sure they seal qualification even before the final round of games.

Red-eyed Police Ladies will attempt to bounce back from their first and only defeat so far when they line up against Immigration Ladies.

Another defeat at this stage for Immigration will rule them out of contention for progress to the next stage and must played above themselves to avoid defeat.

The Kumasi Girls’ Park will host the top-of-the-table clash between Supreme Ladies and Ash Town Ladies.

Second placed Kumasi Sports Academy will stay put at their favourite grounds at the Prempeh College Park to play Fabulous Ladies.

Prisons Ladies will host Northern Ladies at the Army Park in Sunyani while Pearlpia Ladies who are bottom of the log with four points will take on Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Utrecht Park.

Group C leaders Elmina Sea Lions will host Hasaacas Ladies at the Ndoum Stadium while Soccer Intellectuals trek to the UEW Park in Winneba to play as guests of Ladystrikers.
