The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has called for renewed zeal from party supporters, well wishers and faithful to spur the party on to win massively the 2020 elections.
He noted that such renewed zeal would also spur on the leadership of the party and the government appointees to be impressed to support and assist them including the floating voters to win the 2020 elections with a landslide victory.
Mr Awuku made the call
when he embarked on a tour of the Volta and Eastern Regions to interact with driver
unions, transport operators, shop owners and party executives in the two regions
and as part of his working visit, he interacted and engaged them on various
government interventions, programmes and policies.
He was also impressed with
efforts by the leadership of the transport operators, driver unions and party
executives to address concerns of their members, supporters, well wishers, shop
owners and faithful and assured them of the leadership of the party and the
government to address them.
“The leadership of the party and the government will not shirk
their responsibilities in addressing concerns raised but will engage them on
various issues and amicably resolve them however, we appeal to you to exercise
restraint.
“Together with my team, I have for the past two days been engaging shop owners, driver unions, transport operators and party executives in the Eastern and Volta regions, my first visit which was with Ho shop owners and transport operators, driver unions and party executives.
“It afforded my team and I the opportunity to share policies and programmes under the current administration and to get feedback on how they have impacted the lives of the people in the regions, I used the platform to inform them about the government and party’s policies, programmes and achievements of President Nana Akufo-Addo. “I solicited feedback on how these policies, programmes and achievements have impacted lives of people in the regions, I commended their efforts in ensuring concerns of members were well addressed, a successful interaction and also appreciated the president’s effort in transforming the country towards 2020 electoral victory.
“I also expressed gratitude to the regional and constituency executives of the party for showing dedication, determination and commitment towards the victory 2020 agenda of the party,” Mr Awuku indicated. –peacefmonline.com
