Marcus Rashford returned to Manchester United training on Monday, but is still nursing a knock ahead of Sunday’s game against Newcastle.
The United forward dropped out of the England squad due to the injury he picked up against Fulham in the FA Cup.
Rashford could only take part in light training away from the main group on Monday after returning from a trip to New York.
Man. United said on their website that their top scorer’s fitness “will be a concern” ahead of Sunday’s game against Newcastle.
Meanwhile, United will play Wrexham in San Diego this summer on their pre-season tour of the US.
“A youth-focused team” will be supplemented by some of the United’s academy prospects for the game against the non-League side owned by Hollywood actors, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
The match will take place at the Snapdragon Stadium on July 25 as part of a week-long training camp in San Diego for United. —SkySports
