Baafi, a former Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP),
has observed that President Nana Akufo-Addo deserves commendation for
performing well in the first year of his administration and deserves a second
term.
According to him, “Nana Akufo-Addo has
demonstrated his willingness to truly transform the country through the
introduction of various innovative policies, programmes and interventions which
were improving livelihoods which include free Senior High School, the One
District, One Factory project , One Village, One-Dam, Planting for Food and Jobs,
and $1m, One Constituency among others.
“When we came into office, we were met with huge
debts and no money, it is for this reason that we put in place the appropriate
measures to strengthen our monetary system, I believe that is the reason why
the nation is recognised as one of the world’s fastest growing economies, we
must continue to believe in the Akufo-Addo-led administration to deliver the
best to the citizenry.
“The country will realise monumental growth
and development in the coming years, there will be more growth and development
as stated in the 2020 budget, manage the economy to expectation and has not
done badly in managing the economy, a lot of social interventions has been
introduced to ameliorate the sufferings of the citizenry while many of them
have been employed in the public sector,” Mr Baafi touted.
