PNC viable alternative to NPP, NDC duo politics

The citizenry have been urged to consider the People’s National Convention (PNC) as a viable alternative to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general election.

This is because unlike what successive governments have done in the past, the PNC will only offer practical solutions to the country’s challenges, reached a point where it needed new ideas as well as energy.

The party is embodied with the needs and challenges facing the citizenry and will reckon with the upcoming elections to replace duo politics in nation’s political dispensation.

Samson Asaki Awingobit, 41, a flagbearer aspirant for the PNC stated in Accra at a media encounter after formally interacting with the PNC national leadership on his intention to represent the party as flagbearer for Election 2020 and insisted that the PNC was a viable alternative to NPP and NDC.

“The PNC will be the party to reckon with in the 2020 presidential election, because it represents a choice that can best replace the NPP and NDC to replace the duo politics in our political discourse.

“I have been motivated by the inability of successive governments in the country including the current one to effectively and efficiently deal with key issues such as corruption, promoting economic growth and development, unemployment, improving education standards, laying the right structures for the growth of businesses among others.

“If you give the nod, I will expand the economy to create permanent jobs, I will give special packages in utility tariffs to Ghanaian companies for a better economy, I am hopeful the current administration has failed to deliver upon its promises, and can be resolved if the PNC wins the seat of government.

Responding, Bernard Mornah, the National Chairman of the PNC, observed that although the party was yet to complete its constituency elections because of some setbacks, he assured of change soon in the nation’s duo politics.

“The PNC is geared towards being organised and ready to contest the upcoming 2020 presidential elections and in effect, offer the citizenry good governance alternative,” he indicated. -GNA
