After 11 hours of grueling rounds of encounter in search of who becomes the winner of season three of dance reality show dubbed, Di Asa, Precious Mensah, known in the competition as PM emerged the ultimate winner at the Fantasy Dome last Saturday.
For her reward after wrestling the golden opportunity from other 25 finalists, which was pruned to five, she took home a brand-new salon car, a cash prize of GH₵2, 500, a 32-inch television and souvenirs from all the sponsors.
The second prize, ‘Abossey Okai Macho’, a Kia truck went to Valencia Kodjotse, affectionately called Gaza, and Charity Acquah, known in the competition as Maafia, won the tricycle, ‘Aboboyaa ‘, and a cash prize of GH₵2,000 each.
The three winners would be sponsored to Dubai for an amazing treat.
Also on the night, Sapato who came fourth in the competition was also given an ‘Aboboyaa’ for participating and being a good dancer despite her age.
The Managing Director of Atinka Media Village, Mr.Albert KwabenaDwumfour, expressed his appreciation to all stakeholders for their unflinching support in making the programme a success, and promised another thrilling competition in the ensuing year.
Patrons at the packed auditorium witnessed intriguing performances from Joyce Blessing, Article Wan, Borax, Sista Afia, Wendy Shay and Patapaa among others.
Di Asa, an event targeted at plus-size women is aimed at boosting the confidence of women who are often stigmatised, whiles sensitising them on their weight and the health implications.
