Osofobaa Gloria hits back with ‘Ebere no nie’

With three albums already to her credit, “Da wo ho adi” hitmaker, Osofobaa Gloria, known in private life as Gloria Aidoo is back with “Ebere no nie”.

The eight-track album which challenges individuals to reach out for their dreams no matter the obstacles they face in life is expected to be launched in May this year.

Having a mix of worship, highlife, funky and reggae tunes, the album is hoped to engender positive attitudinal change particularly among Christians in going the extra mile to shape national discourse.

In an interview with the Times Weekend, the musician who jostles between work as an Immigration officer, a pastor, student, mother and a wife, recounted how the title track came about after several attempts on a project she was working on.

“I had tried several times to work on a project that was very dear to my heart but was unsuccessful till January this year when I felt strongly that it was time and I feel as Christians and as a nation, it’s time we do things differently to move forward from where we are,” she said.

Osofobaa Gloria cautioned fellow musicians particularly those in the gospel industry against enmity and strife which contradicts Godly living insisting that “we all can make a difference on our own way.”

“As a nation, it is high time we ensure value for money, there are lot of shoddy works in the system in the name of politics and other happenings I am not happy about and it’s time we charted a new path to move Ghana forward and provide hope for future generations,” she urged.
