Oly coach Koffie quits

Accra Great Olympics Head Coach, Prince Koffie has resigned from the club.

His resignation was made public a day after losing 1-0 at home to WAFA in a week seven Ghana Premier League fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Management has been tight-lipped on the exact reasons for Koffie’s resignation with the coach also stating personal reasons for the move.

Sources at the club, however, indicated his performance has been unsatisfactory.

Koffie was a late replacement for Isaac Nii Armah who left the club with barely a week to the start of the competition and has been in charge for a month.

He oversaw seven matches in all, winning two, drew one and lost four, a statistic that got the club’s fans infuriated after the game against WAFA.

.In his absence, Seth Hoffman, the Assistant Coach will step in and prepare the team for today’s encounter with King Faisal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
