Old NAVASCAN Union donates clothes, footwear to 2 c’nities in Navrongo

Old NAVASCAN Union (Nabia) of the Navrongo Senior High School in the Navrongo Municipality in the Upper East Region, on Thursday donated clothes and footwear to two communities in the Municipality.

The beneficiary communities were Janania and Gongnia.

The Accra Branch of the Union mobilised the items from its membership to put a smile on the faces of the beneficiaries as part of their corporate social responsibility for the 60th-anniversary activities.

They were led by its Chairman, Commissioner of Police (retd), Charles Torkor, Mohammed Avoka, who jointly presented the items to the communities at separate events.

The members of the branch expressed the view that they found it appropriate to mobilise the items to support the communities whose school impacted and greatly shaped their lives in their formative years.

The highly elated  Janania chief, Roland Ayelazoya, praised the old students for their fortitude in thinking about them, and prayed that God will richly bless them to do more for the communities.

The Chief of Gongnia, who received the items for the communities, expressed appreciation to the old students, and wished the school and old students success in life.

Present at the presentation was the Assistant Headmaster in charge of Administration, Robert Kampusi.
