NSC to host sports management, admin course

The National Sports College (NSC) at Winneba will from Sunday May 5-11 host a sports management and administration course at the college in Winneba.

The course would be held for officers from the Security Services Sports Association (SESSA), officers from the National Sports Authority (NSA) and other interested individuals.

A press release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the College, Florence Adams, named resource persons for the course as Dr. J.A Baba (a senior lecturer of the University of Education, Winneba, (UEW), Dr. Austin Luguterah (University of Ghana) and Dr. Daniel Apaak, (University of Cape Coast).

Topics to be treated include promotion and delivery of sports, sports events organisation and management, managing finances of sports organisations, managing sports consumers, seeking corporate sponsorship, developing leadership skills, among others.

The aim of the course, according to organisers, is to enhance the knowledge of officers to improve on the quality of human resources in the sports industry and to increase the number of Sports administrators in the country.
