NSA opens accreditation for Black Stars, Meteors games

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has opened accreditation for media personnel who wish to cover the Black Stars and Black Meteors games against the Kenya and Gabon respectively at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Charles Obeng Amofah, Ag. Head of Public Relations of the Authority said in a statement that media personnel that wish to cover the matches have up to a deadline of Thursday, March 21 to submit their applications.

According to the statement, interested personnel must submit an application letter on a recognized letterhead, together with a labeled soft copy of a passport size photograph via email: nsanews112@gmail.com before Thursday March 21, 2019.

“Press cards are the requirement for collection of the accreditation tags on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Public Relations Office, NSA,” the statement added.

On the quota, it said print media houses will be issued two covering a journalist and photographer, three for television crews excluding GTV/StarTimes, two for radio and one for online media.

The Stars will engage the Harambee Stars of Kenya in a final AFCON 2019 group qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on the said date.

Both countries have qualified for the showpiece but the game would determine which country tops the group. The Meteors game against the Gabonese will be for a slot for the upcoming All Africa Games.
