No Limit Charity donates learning materials to 1,000 pupils at Jamestown, Kokrobite

No Limits Charity Organisation, a non-governmental organisation, (NGO) has donated learning materials worth GH¢8,950 to 1,000 pupils in four schools in Jamestown and Kokrobite.

The beneficiaries from Accra Royal Basic School, Sempe School, Amamomo three Basic School and Sun Beam Foundation at Kokrobite received learning materials such as exercise books, pens, pencils, sharpeners and erasers.

Speaking at the ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, the Executive Director of the organisation, Ms Rita Esinam Garglo, said the donation formed part of the organisation’s 11th anniversary which also coincided with her birthday to support the needy in society.

She said the gesture was to impact the lives of the less-privileged brilliant students in society, especially Jamestown and to empower them to achieve their success.

“Last year we distributed text books to all children in this school and being a nativeof this town, I want to empower the children to eliminate the stigma associated with people of Jamestown in their educational success,” she said.

Ms Garglo expressed optimism that the gesture would go a long way to complement their studies and ensure their success was achieved.

She urged the pupils to take their studies seriously and appealed to the teachers to monitor and support them, especially the needy pupils to stay and learn.

She also encouraged parents to invest in the education of their children to build their capacity since ‘education is key to success’.

The headmistress of Accra Royal, Ms SareedaMumuni, on behalf of the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude to No Limits Charity Organisation for the investment they have been making in the educational sector over the years.

She said the support would impact positively on the education of the beneficiary pupils and enhance their mental status to learn.

“We want to say God richly bless them and enhance their territories to always give back to the society,” she added.
