Newage Agric Solutions Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. William A. Kotey as its Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2021.
Mr. Kotey holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Global Executive MBA from the China-European International Business School (CEIBS). He brings a wide and deep range of experience on board the Newage team. His impressive career spans over 30 years; including his previous engagements as Managing Director of RMG Ghana Limited, General Manager at Wienco Ghana Limited, Board Member at Masara N’Arziki Farmers Association, Founding Member of National Association of Seed Traders of Ghana (NASTAG) and most recently as President of Croplife Ghana.
The Company’s Board Chairman, Mr. Alex Tenkorang stated “We are excited to have William on board the Newage team. William’s deep knowledge of the agricultural landscape and his wealth of experience in growing agribusinesses will drive the Company’s growth and expansion strategies”. “No one is better placed than William to understand the needs of the Ghanaian farmer in these difficult times. As MD of RMG, he was responsible for the company emerging as the CIMG Agro-Based Company of the year for two consecutive years.”
