My Choice of Favour International School holds career day

My Choice of Favour International School at Nyanyano in the Central Region has organised a career day for the pupils in the school, so as to expose them to various careers.

This took place on Monday, at the premises of the school, where the pupils dressed as Nurses, Soldiers, Navies, Doctors, Teachers, Pilots among others.

The children displayed their skills in poetry recitals, modeling, singing and dancing to the delight of the audience.

The proprietor of the school, Rev. Joseph Yartey, addressing the audience, said the occasion was meant to help the children discover their future careers from their childhood and to learn towards that goal.

He pleaded with parents not to impose any career on their children, but rather help and encourage them to decide on what they want to do in future.

Rev. Yartey urged the government to assist the private schools since they also play significant role in nurturing pupils and students within the society.

He advised parents to spend more money on their wards in school than on funerals and other social activities.

He again advised them to do their best and pay their wards’ school fees promptly, to avoid any embarrassment.
