Multiple award winning Cameroonian musician Naomi Achu visits Ghana

Multiple award winning Cameroonian-American rapper and songwriter Naomi Achu has revealed plans for her upcoming record, announcing collaborations with renowned Ghanaian artists.

This collaboration is anticipated to bring a unique blend of musical influences to her latest project.

The musician, popularly known as the “Queen of Bamenda,” revealed this in an interview with the media when she arrived in Ghana on Monday.

She said “I love Ghanaian music and appreciate how talented and unique the musicians here are. I would love to have a memorable experience with them while planning on how to also touch the lives of a few vulnerable individuals.”

“I am looking forward to a great interaction with people in the music sector of this beautiful country during my tour and the public in general. I am looking at having  collaborations in future with artists like Reggie Rockstone, Bisa Kdei and DBlack,” she added.

She emphasized that while African music enjoys international success, the importance of unity among African musicians to sustain this momentum should not be underestimated.

This, she said was one of the reasons she chose to visit Ghana and have a collaboration with the local artists.

Naomi Achu is celebrated for her versatility and adaptability, qualities that have made her a favoured ambassador for numerous brands.

As a songwriter, she transforms stories, conversations, and societal issues into captivating lyrics.

In 2016, the beautiful songstress won the Best Female Artiste in Inspirational Music at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMMA) and the 2016 Next Generation Award for Best Female Artiste.

Noami Achu, who was once the automated voice for MTN Cameroon, has numerous albums and extended plays to her credit, including “No Boundaries,” “Positive Energy,” and “Long Live the Queen.”

She originates from the North-West Province of Cameroon, Africa.

The entertainer was introduced to the world during her elementary school years when she entered London and was introduced to numerous cultures such as Indian, Spanish, Australian and the Caribbeans.

She prefers to be unpredictable enough to surprise people, yet predictable enough to stand out.

Her new album titled African Pepper is a songwriter’s journey around the world.

She continues to be an inspiration to up and coming entertainers and all music lovers across the globe.
