Dr Sebastian Sandaare, the Member of Parliament (MP) Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency in the Upper West Region, has assured to continue collaborating and working with his constituents to accelerate the development of the constituency and the welfare of constituents.
He said without such collaboration to work for the development of the constituency the welfare and livelihoods of constituents would stall thereby creating joblessness and threatening the security of the area.
Dr Sandaare asked the constituents to support and assist his efforts to bring progress, growth and development to the constituency and encouraged them to continue to show love, compassion, be generous to one another and continue to work assiduously to reduce hardships.
He urged them to pray and thank the Almighty for the peace, unity, security and harmony in the constituency since without such values development in the area would stall and impoverish the people.
“Let us be encouraged in our prayers for the things the Almighty has done for us even as we commit and dedicate the numerous social, political and economic challenges of our country into His hands and let us also pray for his wisdom and guidance in these trying times, however, I feel privileged as your representative in Parliament to join you in the celebration of this year’s Eid al-Adha.
“Indeed, the essence of this important religious feast is to remember and emulate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to Allah’s command, apart from the religious significance of the festival, there are several important social themes embedded in the commemoration, that can help us enhance our social coexistence as one people, united in our joy and pain to transform our society,” Dr Sandaare stressed.
He reiterated the need for constituents not to be discouraged by challenges but show determination, dedication and commitment to improve their livelihoods towards the development of the constituency and further assured them of continuous collaboration and work together to improve livelihoods and create wealth in the constituency and their welfare.
