Miss Paciencia Abena Nketia-Boye crowned Miss United Continent Ghana 2019
Miss Paciencia Abena Nketia-Boye, on Saturday, won the coveted crown of the maiden Miss United Continent beauty pageant, which came off at the National Theatre.
The night was filled with thrills and surprises, as all the contestants did their best to prove their mettle in the pageant.
At the end, Miss Paciencia Abena Nketia-Boye emerged the winner of the maiden edition of Miss United Continent Ghana and grabbed the crown, received GHȼ10,000 together with souvenirs from the sponsors.
She would also have the chance to represent the country at the global Miss United Continents in Equador.
Miss Pinky Makafui and Miss Wilhelmina Boakye emerged 1st and 2nd runners up respectively and also went home with amazing prizes.
Judges for the night Trigmatic, Stacy Amoateng and Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah were all impressed with the contestants and had a herculean task with the 50 per cent votes required of them.
There were sterling musical performances that night from Wendy Shay, Bisa Kdei and Ogidi Brown.
Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2011 and C.E.O of Angel Television, Akua Amoakowaa, acquired a franchise from Miss Continent Unidos, to organise the Miss United Continent beauty pageant in Ghana.
