“As much as we would wish to take prompt decisions that would facilitate our work and development of our various Municipal and Districts, we must nonetheless be mindful they must conform to established laws and regulations because if they are violated, they will attract appropriate sanctions,” Dr Letsa cautioned.

He advised them to always inform decisions, for bad decision hastily taken although for good course may come to haunt them in a few months or years and asked them to be guided by scriptures in dealings with friends and foes alike in their new appointment.Geoffrey Badasu, Kpando Municipal Chief Executive, who spoke on behalf of the MDCEs, thanked the president for opportunity which was a call to duty and promised of their readiness to deliver on their core mandate and assured of falling on stakeholders including regional minister for support and assistance when necessary so they could work together for progress, growth and development of the region.
